Felix Nonwovens manufactures Myflon car cover fabric for cover makers, private-label brands and automotive suppliers. The fabric is made for car covers, motorcycle covers, campers and similar outdoor covers, and is produced at our plant in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
What the fabric is
The fabric is a 100% polypropylene nonwoven with a waterproof coating. The underside is muflon-coated, which gives a soft surface that faces the vehicle.

Roll length is set to customer requirements, UV stabilisation is available, and the water column ranges from 100 to 1000 cm. Colour options and breathability values are available on request.
Performance in use
- Blocks UV: the fabric deflects the sun’s UV rays, which fade and crack paint and damage the interior.
- Keeps dust and dirt off: it reduces exposure to natural and industrial pollutants, animal droppings, tree sap and airborne dust.
- Gentle on paint: the soft, smooth, abrasion-resistant inner surface is safe on paintwork and helps prevent scuffs and scratches.
- Lets moisture escape: the breathable structure lets heat, moisture and condensation out, so the car stays clean and spot-free.
- Waterproof: the coated top side keeps rain off the vehicle.
Finished cover features
Covers made from our fabric can include mirror pockets, front and rear elastic hems for a snug fit, and an under-body clip strap made from the same fabric to hold the cover in wind. Full-body and partial-body car covers are both possible. We manufacture finished car and motorcycle covers as well as the fabric.
Choosing the right weight
Lighter fabrics in the 105 g/m² range suit indoor or garage covers, where dust protection and low weight matter most. Heavier fabrics up to 250 g/m² suit outdoor covers that face sun, rain and wind every day. Width affects how efficiently your pattern cuts: our 140–160 cm range lets you choose the width that wastes the least fabric for your cover sizes. Share your patterns and we can help you choose the right combination. As a guide, around 110 g/m² is typical for covers sold in the Turkish market, while premium covers for the EU and US markets typically use 250 g/m².
Quality control
Every production lot is made from 100% polypropylene nonwoven at our Eskişehir OSB plant, which is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified. Lot test reports are available on request.

Packaging and supply
The fabric ships as rolls in the width you choose. Roll length is set to your requirements, and rolls are packed to customer requirements.
Sustainability note
The base fabric is 100% polypropylene, a single polymer family. As a 100% PP fabric, it is recyclable.
FAQ
What weights and widths are available? 105–250 g/m², 140–160 cm wide.
Is the fabric waterproof and breathable? It has a waterproof coating, and its breathable structure lets moisture and condensation escape. The water column ranges from 100 to 1000 cm, and test values for the waterproof coating are available on request.
Will it scratch paint? No. The underside is soft and muflon-coated, and the fabric is abrasion resistant and gentle on paintwork.
Can I buy finished car covers? Yes. We manufacture finished car and motorcycle covers as well as the fabric.
