Insulationtex
Insulationtex breathable waterproofing membrane for roofs. Keeps water out under the roof covering and lets vapour escape to prevent condensation.
- Application
- Construction and insulation
Insulationtex is a breathable, vapour-permeable waterproofing membrane installed under the final roof covering.
Why breathable?
Condensation is one of the main causes of roof damage. A healthy, durable roof needs materials under the covering that let water vapour escape. Insulationtex blocks water coming from outside, and its high-performance diffusion structure lets vapour from inside pass.
Roofing underlayment
The underlayment sits between the roof deck and the shingles or other roofing material. It adds a layer of protection against water infiltration and helps prevent damage from wind-driven rain, snow and ice. Bodygard Roofing Underlayment 130 is a lightweight, durable polypropylene nonwoven underlayment in this range, with resistance to moisture and UV.
