Spunsuper Biflex is a two-layer laminate for disposable surgical drapes: a hydrophilic spunbond nonwoven hot-melt laminated to a high-barrier, micro-embossed film.
How it works
The super-hydrophilic spunbond absorbs fluid very quickly, and the barrier film holds it in the nonwoven layer, so fluid does not strike through to the patient or the sterile field.
Standards
Our drape fabrics are made to EN 13795. We state that they perform at least twice the minimum limit values required in the operating room. Our laboratory tests liquid penetration resistance (water column), strike-through and wetback.
