Spunsuper Triplex is a three-layer laminate for disposable surgical drapes and gowns. A hydrophilic spunbond nonwoven is hot-melt laminated to a high-barrier, micro-embossed film, with an extra absorbent layer compared with Biflex.
Performance
Triplex absorbs fluid very quickly and holds it in the barrier layer. Our fabrics are made to EN 13795, and we state that they perform at least twice the minimum limit values required in the operating room.
Biflex or Triplex?
Biflex has two layers (spunbond + film). Triplex has three and adds an absorbent hydrophilic layer, for procedures with more fluid.
